Bio:
Patti Shank
is the managing partner of Learning Peaks, LLC, a consulting group
that helps organizations and higher ed institutions optimize Web-based/distance
education initiatives through analysis, design, and planning. Clients
include government, corporations, and higher education institutions.
Patti has a Master's in Educational Technology Leadership from George
Washington University and is currently working on her Ph.D. at the
University of Colorado, Denver.
Patti is well
known for her independent and systems oriented approaches to training,
performance, and learning technologies and is listed in Who's
Who In Instructional Technology. She's
an often-requested speaker at training conferences and is quoted
frequently in training publications. Patti teaches graduate instructional
technology courses for the University of Colorado, Denver and is
a contributing editor for VNU's Online
Learning Magazine

Grade for the class está baseado em 100 pontos e consiste
dos elementos seguintes:

IMPORTANTE!
Late assignments (anything posted or sent after the due date) will
be graded -10% for each day late unless due to a verifiable medical
or family emergency. Late assignments will be accepted at the discretion
of the instructor and will generally not be accepted more than 1
week late. No assignments are accepted after the class ends (I do
not give incompletes except in cases of verifiable emergency. Getting
behind is not an emergency.). In general, the performance criteria
for an A grade for assignments is listed
below:
- Demonstrates
a high level understanding and application of course topics.
- Is
portfolio quality.
- Is
well focused and has a clear sense of purpose.
- Has
no punctuation, grammar, spelling errors.
- Style,
formatting, and appearance add to quality of final product.
- Team
assignments clearly demonstrate substantial contributions of
all contributors.
